| PAID OUT CLAIM AUDITS Workers' Compensation Accounts HRA performs Workers Comp Zero Balance Reviews of charge to our clients. Every year, providers loose countless dollars due to difficult reimbursement calculations. Our staff is well versed in specific state workers comp laws and regulations, but most importantly - what loopholes the carriers are taking to reduce your allowables. All of your account payments are reviewed against the state-mandated fee schedules and/or guidelines. Managed Care Accounts Typically, contracts are outdated and sometime hard to interpret. Sometimes, they are even hard to locate! Our audit team will help you to identify all the contracts being used and help you to obtain copies of the actual hardcopy contract. Our audit team reviews the claims with your specific contracts. Our staff will determine any discrepancies and submit them to the carrier for additional payment. For both above projects, our collection staff will submit the appeal to the carrier and continue following up on the claim until there is some sort of resolution. Providers will also receive a complete analysis of their audit. The analysis will include some or all of the following: identified trends, any billing and/or noted collection areas that may need additional training or assistance, and contract wording that should be re-reviewed prior to re-negotiating. Both of these projects are designed to increase cash flow, reduce uneeded contractuals, and assist in identifying specific payer challenges. We suggest that after your initial audit, continue audits occur at a quarterly frequency. This will allow you to review process improvements indentified in the audit analysis. EARLY OUT AND CLEAN-UP PROJECTS HRA offers Early Out programs to assist in the acceleration of receivables to cash. We perform follow up on your third party accounts to resolution once they are billed. Each program is tailored to your specific needs. Clean-up Projects can assist when challenges have occurred due to staffing shortages or a build up in your aged receivables CONSULTING AND INTERIM STAFFING Our experienced management staff will perform an onsite review of your business office and admission department.
